Corelli College Co-operative Academy Results Day 2017
Corelli College Co-operative Academy and staff are celebrating after a successful set of A Level and Level 3 Vocational results. Staff and students are once again taking pride in an A Level pass rate exceeding 95% and some top outcomes for many courses.
Vocational courses were a great success, Level 3 Engineering came out trumps with many students achieving Distinction* and Distinction across the board as did IT, Sports, Applied Science and Music. A Level courses also brought in excellent outcomes for many students including Photography, Sociology, History, English Literature, The Extended Project and Government & Politics. Particularly noteworthy were the outcomes for Photography at 100% A* - C and 88% A* - B.

Some particular student success stories included Kelsey Barber, (A, B, C, C) and Tasha Hynam, (A, B, C), Kevin Fernando (A*, A*, A, C) and Chloe Sam with triple A* in Engineering. Destinations include a wide variety of universities and apprenticeships with Thai Trinh going to study Biochemistry at Kent University, Kevin Fernando studying Mechanical Engineering at UCL, Chloe Toland going on to North Kent College for Stage Design and Moses Ward following his dream to study Dance at Laban. Memsur Gorda will be taking up a Level 4 Apprenticeship with Conway Engineering and two students being awarded sports scholarships to UEL amongst many others.
Ruthanne Straughan, Corelli College’s Chair of Governors, came in to celebrate with the students and added ‘All of the hard work has paid off and I am extremely proud of the staff and students at Corelli for delivering some great results’.
